The reform of the Argentine Criminal Code: its impact on companies, managers and corporate reputation

Since last month, the Government of Cristina Fernández de Kirchner has been working on a draft amendment of the Criminal Code. Were it to be passed, the new legislation would significantly modify the Argentine corporate world, as it includes the criminal responsibility of legal persons, a trend that has already been implemented in the regulations of other countries.

This new report produced by d+i LLORENTE & CUENCA analyzes this initiative with the collaboration of Guillermo Jorge and Fernando Basch, Law Professors and experts in anti-corruption policies.

In particular, the report studies the way in which this reform would affect companies from two approaches: reputation and sound corporate governance.
