From a clean start to a new increase on taxes

A few weeks after the troika completed its work, the Portuguese Constitutional Court ruled unconstitutional certain measures that the Government of Passos Coelho had approved and agreed with the IMF and the Eurogroup.

In this context, the Government will wait until the negotiation of the forthcoming State’s General Budget before implementing new reforms to foster an economic momentum. And even so, the country is growing at a considerable rate.
