Corporate Crises: Managers under suspicion

The Spanish social, media and legal pressure of recent years has spread a feeling of suspicion on politicians and businessmen, which is very difficult to get rid of. The objective of this article is to understand the roots of this social mistrust towards businessmen and managers and to provide certain strategies to combat the stigma of “suspected offender” which affects them. Instead of implementing the allegedly best strategy of thinking for the long term (winning the war) perhaps it should be considered whether this is the moment to put up a fight.
