The State highlights the importance of mining investments for Peru: it is an opportunity to change the companies’ reputation

The closing speech that President Ollanta Humala made at the 31st Mining Convention in Perumin came as a real surprise to the thousands of mining investors that met in Arequipa last September. The State recognition of mining as one of the main basis which sustain the growth of the country shows that the relationship between private investors and the current government is going through a good time, which should be exploited in a timely and intelligent manner by mining companies.
