This paper aims to reopen the debate on the current status of journalism nowadays. Someone once said that with each closure of a means of communication, democracy and freedom die a little. Barely a year ago, the Ahora newspaper was closed down. One month prior to its closure, the newspaper published an article originally published on The Guardian from Katharine Viner “How technology disrupted the truth” in which she warned of the need of a radical change in the way of doing journalism.
